Friendship is a Strong Tree is a variation of The Tree of Life, filled with delicate contrasting color patterns. As though built using textured stained glass, the image seems to glow with vibrance. Specifically, it seeks to suggest the specialized glass Louis Comfort Tiffany’s workshop created for his astonishing stained glass landscapes, a treatment characteristic of many of Baldwin’s works.
