Anne Brawer Schwartz is a dedicated abstractionist whose painterly imagination remains grounded in the world of places and things. While pursuing a degree in Graphic Design from the University of Oregon and further studies at the Gemological Institute of America, Schwartz maintained her painting practice – which she kept up during her 25-year career as a renowned couture jewelry designer. Her expertise as a designer is apparent in her abstract paintings, in their detail, drawing, design principles, color, texture and refracted light. SEE MORE
CIRCLE OF HEALTH INTERNATIONAL
Circle of Health International (COHI) responds to needs of the women and children worldwide hit hard by disaster or other crises by aligning with humanitarian organizations led by women. COHI supports partners by providing professional volunteers and training, procuring supplies and equipment, and raising funds. Throughout May, COHI is partnering with Mother’s Day Movement to raise $100,000 to aid COHI’s mission to help vulnerable Puerto Rican mothers hit hard by two natural disasters and now the C19 pandemic.
