Description

This ultra-fluid abstract work by Bay Area artist Dee Tivenan was created using mixed media on Yupo paper and is mounted on a cradled panel of natural wood. “Water Movement” is part of the Tivenan’s Swept Away series and exhibits the layering, texture, vivid color, and movement that are characteristic of her hypnotic expressions.

Tivenan’s first career was that of a psychotherapist. Her artistic career plays on a similar strand of emotion, creativity and mindfulness. Tivenan adds, “My style of painting is Abstract Expression. I hope this painting evokes some thoughts or feelings for you. Even though my paintings are personal expressions, sharing the work is a privilege.”
