This high-contrast fused glass work was inspired by Kim’s travels to the Abiquiu village of New Mexico, where she was deeply moved by the landscape. The stone-tower landscape in a valley of the Rio Chama hills was made famous by Georgia O’Keeffe when she made a series of paintings about the area she called “The White Place,” or in Spanish, “Plaza Blanca.” Thunderstorm Over Plaza Blanca is ready for a plate stand or hanging hardware.
