Description

Tapestry abstract artwork by Debra Corbett is dominated by patterns while the hand-painted papers create a very rich painting. This work displays a strata of colors that complement one another. Reds, blues, golds all create a very interesting surface.

Corbett adds her thougths on Tapestry. “My inspiration for this piece comes from the richness of tapestries. There are many layers of paint with the addition of collaged paper. The colors are bold and saturated. I am also attracted to patterns, especially circles, so I included that motif in this work.”

Tapestry has painted 1.5” deep gallery-wrapped edges and is wired and ready to hang. It works well in residential, corporate and hospitality settings.
