Melancholia #4 is an original, abstract acrylic painting by Vera Tchikovani. It is part of her series “Melancolia.” There are moments in our lives when we feel melancholy. It is a sadness, but it is a “sweet” sadness, perhaps colored by some regret or wishful thinking. In this collection the artist transmits this complex feeling by using a limited palette of blue and a flowing technique of the brush.
