This lovely work of fine art by the skilled and accomplished artist Diane Williams was created with mixed media on cradled panel. Dancing the Ancestors is part of her Gesturing the Void series that exhibits bold, confident strokes similar to those perfected by the Chinese masters. Williams adds more about this particular piece:

“When painting I feel a strong connection to my ancestors. Some have referred to this as their ‘muse’ but for me it is a mysterious connection to something greater than myself. I celebrate by letting my brush dance and rejoice in this special inspiration. ”
