In my art, I strive to embody the essence of racial equality. My figurative paintings are often diverse array of skin colors. To me, the color of one’s skin is simply that — a hue.

As an artist, I perceive color as a palette to be mixed and blended, each shade finding its unique place within the canvas. Its significance is only defined within the context of colors in my artwork.

Blue Lady with Beads symbolizes the beauty of diversity. So too should we endeavor to blend and learn from one another, enriching our understanding and appreciation of one another.
