Autumn Renoir is a lovely work of impressionism by Alexandre Renoir, great-grandson of French master Pierre-Auguste Renoir. This oil painting depicting a serene, natural path through a wooded area during fall has thickly applied paint in luscious golds, reds and greens. Autumn Renoir works well in residential, commercial or hospitality settings.
Autumn Renoir uses heavy impasto brushwork, a signature technique for which Alexandre is known. This work of oil on canvas, is framed in a traditional gold frame 4” wide, is wired and ready to hang.
Autumn Renoir is a special artwork now in our consignment store. The seller is an Austin collector who is downsizing.
