Description

Archipelago Glow is an original oil painting by Austin artist Debbi Smith Rourke and is part of her “Light Touches Earth” series. It is painted on an 8 x 10-inch archival panel, and then framed in a wide, antique-black museum frame.

Archipelago Glow is an abstracted seascape depicting a sunset as might be seen from a ship sailing off the west coast of Italy. This small work has a limited palette of mainly violet tones. The artist used both brushwork and palette knife applications. Finished frame size is 14 x 16.25 inches.
