Description
This inviting and pleasing landscape by Debbi Smith Rourke was inspired by a daytrip she took through the Canadian Yukon while on an Alaskan cruise along the inner passage. The Yukon was brimming with precipitous snow-capped mountains, glaciers and snowmelt. In late July, the air was chilly and the winds strong over the waters. The summer wildflowers had just begun to pop across the natural, untouched landscape. This works displays her use of both the palette knife and brushes to create texture, movement and interest. The 14”x18” work on canvas panel is ready to be framed .
