Description

This painting echoes the vibrant colors of spring in the Texas hill country. This work was part of a 2016 national abstract exhibit in Santa Cruz, California entitled “Energy and Stillness,” juried by John Maxon and organized by the Santa Cruz Art League. Hill Country Colors was created primarily using the palette knife, painting wet paint into wet paint.

Hill Country Colors has painted 1.5” gallery-wrapped edges, so no framing is needed. This creates a lovely contemporary presentation.
