Description

As an exchange student in Hangzhou China, Williams was fascinated by the lotus flower. The lotus is a sacred flower; a symbol of beauty, purity, rebirth and spiritual awakening. Its seeds may remain viable for may years in the mud beneath the water. The flower breaks the surface of the water each morning, then recedes beneath the water each evening as the sun sinks below the horizon.

Emerald Sea Lotus has canvas wrapped over custom-built stretcher bars creating gallery sides that present beautifully unframed, though can be easily framed. This artwork is ready to hang.
