Description

Umbrella Party is lively beach scene – one of Debbi’s favorite subjects. You can feel the whipping wind beating against the canvas umbrellas. Oodles of fun from all her lifetime of beach vacations with family and friends make these casual works ooze the frolic of the past, while also conveying the wistful longing to return. Thick application of oil paint using both palette knife and brushwork is her signature technique.
