Description

This painting was inspired by a photograph Debbi took on her way home to Austin from South Texas, somewhere north of the King Ranch. She felt the photo was reminiscent of many Texas country road scenes. Stylistically, Debbi works to simplify her landscapes and is influenced by similar techniques used by California artists such as Raimond Staprans, Richard Diebenkorn, David Hockney and others.

Texas Farmland has painted 1.5” gallery-wrapped edges, so no framing is needed. This creates a lovely contemporary presentation.
