Majestic Light is a simplified landscape of impressionism depicting a dramatic sky at sunset behind tall red-rock Canyonlands. It’s painted in oil on a gallery-wrapped canvas. The palette of highly saturated reds and orange wakes up the viewer while still creating a pleasant and soothing scene. The artist used both brushwork and palette knife applications.
