Garden Twilight is an original painting of abstractionism by Austin artist Debbi Smith Rourke and is part of her “Light Touches Earth” series. It offers the refreshing feeling of walking through a rose garden or near lily ponds after sunset while a cool breeze is blowing.

Garden Twilight is painted in oil on a gallery-wrapped canvas.  The palette is very inviting with cool blues and greens that mix playfully with red, burgundy, magenta and pink marks. The artist used both brushwork and palette knife applications creating lots of interesting texture.
