Description

Shimmering Hills is an original oil painting of impressionism by Austin artist Debbi Smith Rourke and is part of her “Light Touches Earth” series. It depicts light breaking through fog on rolling hills, creating a pleasing shimmer effect.

Shimmering Hills is painted in oil on a 9×12 inch archival panel, and then framed in an antique-black museum frame that is 15″x18.” The limited palette of blues, greens and yellow create a soothing, mysterious quality. The artist used both brushwork and palette knife applications.
