July 4th Gladiolas

This welcoming still life by Debbi Smith Rourke was inspired by her floral arrangement for the July 4th holiday last summer. The red glads continued to open and spread the celebratory joy for over a week. This simplified floral work displays Smith Rourke’s use of both the palette knife and brushes to create texture, movement and interest. The 24”x24” work on 1.5” deep gallery-wrapped canvas creates a contemporary display without being framed, while it can also be framed to suite your taste.

1.5” deep painted sides create a contemporary display. This work arrives unframed and ready to hang. It can also be easily framed to suit your preference.
