Description

The Turn by Mira M. White is an abstract figurative work inspired by 3 figures in Botticelli’s famous Primavera.

The Turn painting evolved, after a number of preliminary sketches, into a very painterly study about transformation. One sees the figure from the side, the back and totally in front. This is an inspirational study in growth and change.

The Turn is a work of oil, soft pastel, cold wax & pigment sticks on canvas mounted on a prepared birch panel. The sides are natural birch wood 2” D which creates a seamless contemporary display. It is ready to hang.
