Interactions with people can be so awkward. From random bystanders to even the closest of kin, our interactions with each other can be boundless in ambiguous actions. I am influenced by this maladroit dance, and how it could be harbored through arrested development and as technology seems to become more an extension of our true being. Through collage and printmaking, I seek to create a dialogue that delineates self-conscious silence, questions more than answers, and at times, a smidge of curious humor. These mediums, in a way are cyclical in which one must exist for the other, much like our routine with the world in which we all experience.
