Description

Night and Day is another fun and festive abstract by California artist Judith Rohrer. In this acrylic painting on a 12”x12” wood panel, Judth creates the sights and sounds of the day and night in abstracted form. The black and white background creates a graphic, high-contrast effect. Soft blues rusty reds, aqua and golds pop off the neutral background.

Judith loves playing with color as it interacts with abstract shapes and lines. She explores the juxtaposition of orderly primary shapes with splashes of fluid color and line. Night and Day is just one example of this creative exploration.
