Lady in the Volcano by San Antonio artist Terry Gay Puckett depicts a misty blue volcano erupting in pink smoke. The image of the volcano goddess faintly emerges within the atmosphere of pink, yellow and blue smoke. A firey orange sun floats above the volcanic eruption, encircled by melted glass beads.

Lady in the Volcano is a small atmospheric landscape in vitreous enamel fired onto a copper panel and is another example of the colorful and expressive works in vitreous enamel for which Puckett is known. This artwork is framed in a 13.5” H x 11.5” W dark-wood Mexican frame bordered in gold, is wired and ready to hang.
