Acrylic and fabric on cradled wood panel
30” H x 30” W
Natural wood edges 1.5” deep
Robinson’s abstract painting practice is an exploration of pattern and color. She builds up layers of paint and medium, starting with a piece of fabric and incorporating repeating patterns that are both timeless and reminiscent of a particular time and place. Each layer may involve multiple techniques, including drips, swipes and crackled textures.
Frivolity is painted on a cradled wood panel that is about 1.5” deep. The edges are sanded and waxed and the natural wood color creates a contemporary display. Frivolity is wired and ready to hang in your home, office or studio.
