Description

Daylight Shimmer is an original oil painting of impressionism by Austin artist Debbi Smith Rourke and is part of her “Light Touches Earth” series. Even in its small size, the big sky with fluffy clouds floating over rolling hills creates a big impact.

Daylight Shimmer is painted in oil on loose canvas, then mounted on a 5×7” panel and set in an antique-black museum frame with a gold liner.  The artist used both brushwork and palette knife applications.
