325 Somewhere Near Water
1 in stock
325 Somewhere Near Water is a tranquil large abstract by nationally-recognized artist Anne B. Schwartz and is part of her Burst Collection. This painting is an abstracted ocean view of water and islands, and brings to mind idyllic vacation settings. The beautiful shades of blue are soothing. The softness and meditative quality make it perfect for a bedroom or any room where you’d like to inspire peace and tranquility.
In Schwartz’ Burst Collection, we see small, intimate sections of works from her Ricordi d’Italia Collection that have been enlarged into wholly new paintings. Works like 325 Somewhere Near Water are gestural compositions whose exotic rhythms are influenced by her studies of Asian Sumi-e ink painting, which reveal their inner lives as she teases their essences forward from within their faceted depths.
325 Somewhere Near Water could also be hung horizontally. It is painted on a hand-made canvas with a supported wooden frame, is wired and ready to hang. The painted edges 1.5” deep create a contemporary display.
After 25 years as a couture jewelry designer, Schwartz’ design expertise is apparent in 325 Somewhere Near Water in her considerations of detail, drawing, color, texture and refracted light.
